Poncho ni Yoake no Kaze Haramasete

[Machine Translation] The "youth" that will never come back, when we were somewhat pathetic, fun for no reason, and passionate. This is a road movie about the awakening of youth, in which everyone remembers "those days," laughs at the silliness, and is moved by the sadness. Newcomer Satoru Hirohara adapts Kazuma Hayami's novel of the same title, which has been the subject of numerous coming-of-age novels. A cast of the most talented young talent of the moment has gathered under the direction of a new talent who will lead the next generation of Japanese cinema. The theme song is "Tomorrow or Whatever" written by the one and only rock band, Ogenoran-neyo, who passionately sing about the true feelings of young people. --The film is about three high school students, Matahachi (Taiga), Jin (Aoi Nakamura), and Jumbo (Yuma Yamamoto), who are just going through their days, without any hope for the future. As graduation nears, Jin is aiming to go on to a top university, and Jumbo has decided to take over his family's tonkatsu restaurant, but Matahachi is still unable to decide on any career path. With this thought in mind, they head for the sea in Jumbo's father's beloved Celsior. On the way, the three encounter gravure idol Ai (Aimi Satsukawa), sex worker Maria (Junko Abe), and other exciting adults, and have experiences that they would not normally have. On the other hand, Nakata (Shota Someya), who has been left behind, spends his time practicing his guitar for the graduation concert promised to Matahachi. Their "youth" finally begins to move!
