Slower in pace and less gory than American Horror films, Uzumaki is a perfect example of Japanese horror. Though based on a manga of the same name, people out of Japan might consider this film to be a bit too "weird", "odd", even "strange" since the focus is on spiral objects (take a look at your fingertips: notice the spirals or uzumaki? One woman in the film cut hers off). The acting is a bit weak, and the CG graphics a bit mundane, however if you are looking for a bit of strange horror, Uzumaki may be right for you.
