Description

Directed by Lasse Hallstrom ("The Cider House Rules," "Chocolat"), this romantic comedy drama stars Julia Roberts and Dennis Quaid. In the tradition of the other Hallstrom films, it portrays a quirky human drama with slightly off-centered wit and intelligence. Grace Bichon (Roberts) finds out about her husband Eddie's (Quaid) affairs with another woman. Her decision to move in with her sister for a while causes a wave of stirs and intersting changes throughout all her family members, including her parent's marriage. Its impressive cast includes Robert Duvall and Gena Rowlands as her parents, and Kyra Sedgwick as her sister. Sedgwick steals some of the scenes she's in, and she's quite believable as Roberts' screen sister.
