"釣りバカ"が2017年新春にスペシャルドラマとして復活! 舞台は伊勢・志摩! 撮影規模もバカバカしさもスケールアップ!? ――鈴木建設入社2年目のハマちゃん(濱田岳)は、会社のビッグプロジェクト"フィッシングワールド"の視察のため、初の出張を命じられる。当初は出張を嫌がっていた釣りバカ・ハマちゃんだったが、行き先が伊勢・志摩だとわかった途端に、目を輝せる! 伊勢・志摩に到着すると、呆れる佐々木課長(吹越満)を船宿に置き去りにして、早速釣りに出かけてしまう。防波堤で釣り糸を垂らしていると、かつて恋心を抱いていた矢島亜季(比嘉愛未)と偶然の再会を果たす・・・!
