Description

『白い船』『RAILWAYS【レイルウェイズ】』の錦織良成監督が、島根を舞台に描いた第2作、待望のDVDリリース! 神話の里を駆け巡る、青春ミラクルストーリー。 主人公の須賀鉄郎 (橋爪遼)は雲南高校3年生。神話の杜を中心に見事な棚田が広がり、古き良き日本の風習が残る高台の農家に住んでいる。毎日の日課は、父 (菅田俊)の工場で作られる新鮮な牛乳を入院中の母 (宮崎美子)に届けること。そして今の悩みは、卒業後の進路と幼馴染で同級生の多賀子 (柳沢なな)への想い・・・。高校生最後の夏休み、郷土を愛してやまない熱血教師・尾崎 (甲本雅裕)は鉄郎たちクラス一同を、特別遠足と称して市内の名所・旧跡に連れ出す。ところが、この時行ったヤマタノオロチ伝説伝承地の一つ「印瀬の壺神」に足を踏み入れたことが、後に鉄郎の運命を左右することになる。
