This is the sixth film in the "Dracula" series produced by Hammer Productions in England, which began with "Vampire Dracula" ('58). This is the fifth film in which Christopher Lee plays Dracula. Directed by Roy Ward Baker of "Vampire Lovers" ('71), who also directed "No Knocking" ('52) starring Monroe in Hollywood, but specializes in science fiction and horror films. First dubbed version of NTV's "Wednesday Road Show" (aired August 7, 1974)! --Bavaria, Germany. Count Dracula, a vampire resurrected in an old castle deep in the mountains, attacks the daughters of the village one after another. The angry villagers set the castle on fire, but the Count strikes back. Then, a young man wanders into the castle, pursued by the police... First time on Blu-ray!
