遂に覚醒!未来を照らすファーストフルアルバム完成!これまでシングルを含む4枚の作品をリリースしてきたPELICAN FANCLUBによる待望のファーストフルアルバム『Home Electronics』が完成した。作品ごとにテーマ性を変えながら多角的な視点で4人の「今」を更新してきた彼ら。今作に収録されている楽曲は全て新曲、今までのサウンドから飛躍的に進化した12曲が収められている。本作にはスタジアムが似合うロックナンバー「深呼吸」で幕をあけ、高速シューゲイザーポップソングとも言うべきアルバムリードトラック「Night Diver」に加え、ポストパンクの要素を強く感じる「Black Beauty」、ドリームポップの質感で彩る「You're my sunshine」、ミディアムバラード「花束」、エモーショナルでありながらアフリカンなコーラスワークで魅せる「朝の次へ」、そしてエンドウアンリの詩の世界観そのものと言えるSFソング「ダダガー・ダンダント」など、幅広い楽曲群で構成されている。4人で音楽を鳴らす楽しさ、4人でしか鳴らせない音を出すために今までにない制作の仕方や音の選び方をしたという本作で確実にバンドは次のフェーズに突入した。エンドウの描く歌詞世界はより鮮明な景色が広がり、伸びやかな歌声に乗って、様々な角度から生きる希望を持たせてくれる。そんな、PELICAN FANCLUBがバンドの再構築を行い完成させたのがこの『Home Electronics』である。エンドウアンリは、アルバムに込められた思いを下記のようにコメントしている。この楽曲達が誰かの”なくてはならない”不思議な物としてありたいと心から願っている。『家電』は一家に一台、『Home Electronics』は一家に一枚。家電は僕らの未来のためにある。そしてこのCDも僕らの未来のためにある。バンドは6月からワンマン3公演、対バン6公演のツアー”Electronic Store”を開催する。そして、「VIVA LA ROCK 2017」「YATSUI RESTIVAL!2017」「HAPPY JACK 2017」「SANUI ROCK COLOSSEUN」など様々なフェスやイベントへの出演も発表されている。PELICAN FANCLUBがこれからどんな景色を見せてくれるのか今から期待せずにはいられない。
