The backbone of Ara's influences (Foo Fighter, RAMONES, The Wildhearts, etc.) remains intact, and he pursues the sound he wants to produce, with a hard & poppy, punkish, melodious, yet bold and heavy-boned guitar sound. Gt/ChSHINTARO..Ba/ChIn 2008, ARA (Vo/Gt), the frontman of WiTHMYFOOT, approached GENKI (Dr/RetromaniA) about forming a band right after WiTHMYFOOT's dissolution. 2009, TEKKO ( In 2009, TEKKO ( Gt/MOTORMUSTANG ) joined the band, and the band produced two demos while the fixed members could not be decided. In 2010, they met SHINTARO of SLIME BALL through a mutual friend and hit it off. In the summer of the same year, ARA welcomed SHINTARO (Ba/SLIME BALL) as an official member and began full-fledged activities. 2011, ARA reunited with Ryoji (ex.POTSHOT/TV-ADDICTIONS), who had helped them during their WiTHMYFOOT days. They agreed to restart their career at TV-FREAK RECORDS, the starting point of ARA's career, and started recording a mini-album (this album) in the summer of the same year. The engineer is AxSxO, who has been working with ARA since the WiTHMYFOOT days.

ex.WiTH MY FOOTやSLIMEBALLのメンバーによる本格派ロックバンド!ちょうど2000年頃、メロディック&スカパンク全盛の時代にWiTHMYFOOT(ウィズ マイフット)という、骨太なギターサウンドに良質のメロディとハーモニーを聴かせるパンクトリオがいた事を覚えている人も多いはず。2008年に惜しまれつつ解散した、WiTHMYFOOTの中心人物だったアラ(Vo & G)が現在SLIME BALL、RetromaniAなどで活躍するメンバーと共に新たにthe aroundsでシーンに帰ってきた。アラが影響を受けたバックボーン(Foo Fighter,RAMONES,The Wildhearts,etc)はそのままに、さらに自分の出したい音を追及してハード&ポップでパンキッシュでメロディアスでいながらも豪快骨太なギター・サウンドが突っ走る。他に類を見ないワンアンドオンリーなサウンド!最近のパンクバンドに物足りなさを感じるAIR JAM世代の先輩から現役のパンクキッだけではなく、洋楽ロックファンにも聴いて欲しい1枚。The arounds ?areARA…….Vo/GtGENKI…..Dr/ChTEKKO…..Gt/ChSHINTARO..Ba/Ch2008年、WiTHMYFOOTのフロントマンだったARA(Vo/Gt)がWiTHMYFOOT解散直後にGENKI(Dr/RetromaniA)にバンド結成の話を持ちかけ始動。2009年、TEKKO(Gt/MOTORMUSTANG)が加入固定メンバーが中々決まらない中DEMOを2枚制作。ベースにサポートメンバー加えライブ活動も開始これまでにDEMO2枚トータル500枚を売る2010年、共通の知り合いを通じてSLIME BALLのSHINTAROと会い、意気投合。同年夏SHINTARO(Ba/SLIME BALL)を正式メンバーに迎え本格的に活動開始。2011年、WiTHMYFOOT時代にお世話になったRyoji氏(ex.POTSHOT/TV-ADDICTIONS)と再会。再スタートの場をARAのキャリアの原点であるTV-FREAK RECORDSから始めることで話がまとまり、同年夏からミニアルバム(今作)のレコーディングを開始。エンジニアにはWiTHMYFOOT時代からサウンドを一緒に作り上げてきたAxSxO氏
