ティンペッツが3年ぶりとなるフルアルバム「しるし!」をリリースすることになった。渋谷WWW、下北沢GARDEN、新代田FEVERなどで自主企画ライブを行うなど気合いが入った活動を続けてきたバンドだが、今回のアルバムはかつてないほどの時間を費やし、様々なアイデアを取り入れた全10曲入りのアルバムとなっている。タイトルの「しるし!」についてだが「気合を入れすぎた分、肩の力を抜くためにいろんな意味を想起できる「しるし」というひらがな3文字に、さらに仰々しくないように半角の「!」を入れて可愛くしてみた」とボーカル吉田は語る。またバンドとしては初めての10都市以上のツアー開催も同時に発表。
