2年振りとなる、D.A.N.待望のニューアルバムが7月18日にリリース!2016年を代表する作品となった1stアルバムから更なる進化を遂げて、楽曲クオリティ、音質共にワールドクラスの作品が完成。"今"の音を更新し鳴らし続ける、日本でも他にいない稀有なバンドD.A.N.が、いよいよUK TOURやアジアツアーを機に海外へ進出し、スケールを増大していく中、決定的なアルバムを世界へ発信します。トリップの入り口となるイントロ「Start」、きらめくシンセのトーン、そして畳み掛ける後半のコズミックなトランス感がキラーな先行シングル「Chance」で本アルバムは幕開け。ロウなエクスペリメンタル・ディスコを想起させるグルーヴィーな「Sundance」。ベース・ミュージック～IDMのグルーヴや音色を彼らなりに昇華してみせたインスト「Cyberphunk」。そして続くミュージック・コンクレートなインターバル「Debris」とアルバムは進んで行き、こうした楽曲たちはバンドとして彼らが新たな表現を見につけたことを端的に物語るサウンドとなっている。後半、「Pendulum」は、ミニマルなフレーズに絡め取られる、その歌詞はSF的なモチーフが巡るコズミック・ブルース。アンビエントR&Bな美しい名曲「Replica」。コズミックなステッパーでグルーヴィーに進むリズム隊、そしてドラマチックに展開していくヴォーカルとシンセがフィールドを駆け巡る「Borderland」。その高揚感は、本アルバム後半のクライマックスのひとつと言える。まさに彼らの真骨頂とも言えるメロウ&チルアウト、そして美しくもメランコリックな情景を描くリリック、R&Bトラック「Orange」で本アルバムは閉じる。3人のバンドとしての表現力をストレートに拡大させたサウンドを効かせている。新たな航路を目指して旅立つような、新たな9つの作品。またひとつ、新たな次元へと踏み込んだ今作で彼等の第2章がここからはじまる。レコーディングエンジニアに半野喜弘、Jazztronik、大橋トリオなどを手掛ける早乙女正雄や、日本を代表する電子音楽家、AOKI takamasaを迎え制作。
