現在活動中のSEX MACHINEGUNSのANCHANG(Vo,G)SHINGO(B) と、OYAKATA(Gt)HIROTA(Ds)の4人で、2012年ザメンテナンスの活動をスタート。数ヶ月後にはワンマンでのライヴを成功させる。 2013年には初の音源にしてフルアルバム「工事中」を発売し、ワンマンライヴをはじめ、全国ツアーも行うなど精力的に活動。さらには川崎市・宮前区が実施する「宮前重金属計画」の テーマ曲を手がけ、活動の幅を広げている。 ヘヴィ&オルタナティヴ・ロックバンド「ザメンテナンス」!「心と体のメンテナンス」を合い言葉に、退屈な日常や、現代人の病んだ魂、そして深刻化する様々な社会問題も、みんなまとめてメンテナンス!こんな時代に誰もが待っていた、痛快極まりない重金属音楽を轟かせる。今年「真夏の集中工事」と題し、7月～8月に都内のべ15か所を回るツアーを実施。メディアでは現在、タイアップCMへの出演(ANCHANG)やTBSラジオ「SEX MACHINEGUNSのラジオメタル」、東京MXうたなび!「SEX MACHINEGUNメタリックライフ」が放送中。
