With beautiful poetic lyrics written by vocalist and guitarist Satsuki Teramoto and his clear, high tone voice, the band is based in Nagoya and performs under the concept of "Deliver". Although unknown, her self-titled album "Blue Magic.ep" sold more than 800 copies by hand, and has been viewed more than 55,000 times on YouTube. 日本の音楽シーンに新たな歴史を拓く!平均年齢19歳、名古屋の次世代ロックシーンを牽引する『postman』。伸びやかで澄んだ歌声、ドラマチックかつエモーショナルなメロディが心地よく疾走するデビューミニアルバム「干天の慈雨」。地元の少年野球チームで結成された、平均年齢19歳の4ピースバンドpostman。バンド史上初のミニアルバム、タイトルは「干天の慈雨」(よみ:かんてんのじう)。ボーカル&ギターの寺本颯輝(テラモト サツキ)の綴る美しい詩的な歌詞と透明感のあるハイトーンボイスを武器に、名古屋を拠点に「届ける」をコンセプトに活動。高校時代に制作された自主盤「青い魔法.ep」は、無名ながら手売りで800枚以上を売り上げ、YouTubeでは5.5万の再生回数を突破している。その高い楽曲センスでBIGMAMAが2016年に企画募集した「10代限定ライブ」で対バン相手に選出された。また、同年 TFM「SCHOOL OF LOCK!」と「Eggs」が主催する10代限定の夏フェス「未確認フェスティバル」のファイナリストまで勝ち残り、新木場STUDIO COASTのステージに立つなど同年代を中心に厚い支持を集めている。今作について寺本は《「干天の慈雨」日照り続きの時に降る恵みの雨という意味があるように、マイナスのものをひとつの意味で受け取らず 何もかもを光に変えられるようなエネルギーのある7曲を収録した》と語る。困っているときに差し伸べられる、一筋の美しい光のような一枚に仕上がっている。
