2011年4月より"世界中を笑顔に"をコンセプトに活動しているスマイル学園から新ユニットがCDデビュー! 『スマイル学園 笑顔のたすきキャンペーン』と題し、2014年1月に控える『なかのZERO小ホール』公演へ向けて、隔月で4組のグループ内ユニットがCDデビューする予定。第1弾ユニットは、スマイル学園4期生の木沢瑠那(高2)・小西ねね(中3)・向井 静(中3)・中原芽生(中3)による4人組=SMILE 4 THE FUTURE(略してスマフォー)。6～7月の2か月間、精力的にインストアイベントや対バンライブなどに出演し、第2弾ユニットへとたすきを繋いでいく。また、カップリングでは20年前のアイドル冬の時代の中で孤軍奮闘したアイドルグループ・Melodyの『素直に言えない～もっとそばにいたいけど～』をカバー。アイドルの長い歴史の中で、過去の名曲を今に伝えるべくたすきを繋いでいく。
