Ireland Saigo no Ginyu Shijin O'Carolan no Sekai The Last Irish Bard Tur

[Machine Translation] The works of O'Carolan, the 18th century Irish bard and the most famous blind harper in history, are performed by leading Irish harpist Masakiyo Sakagami on a metal-stringed Celtic harp, the traditional style of the time, in a groundbreaking collection of O'Carolan songs never before performed in Japan. The collection also includes the originals, with commentary by Sakagami himself. This is the first time in seven years that O'Carolan's music has been digitally remastered and re-released with a new 8-page booklet and additional bonus tracks that were not included in the original recording. The album is full of lyrical original songs created by Masaki Sakagami himself on Irish themes, as well as numerous melodies written by O'Carolan for the aristocrats and acquaintances of the time. In 1999, he released his first CD "Clarsach" on the Pioneer LDC label, and in 2002, he composed the music for the anime "The League of Ashes and Feathers," in which he participated as a composer. In 2002, he participated in the soundtrack "Hanenone," recorded music for the pop unit ZABADAK, and composed music for commercials.
