あのロッキンママこと、東海林のりこさんにタイトルを命名して頂いたGHOSTのコンセプト シングル「朽チ果テタ蜘蛛ノ巣城」リリース決定!2006年5月5日、ドラムに新メンバーKisaraを迎え5人で新たなスタートを切ったGHOST。レコーディング直前の6月某日、東海林さんがナビゲーターを努めるインターネット番組にゲスト出演をした際に、それまで仮タイトルすら決まっていなかったシングルのタイトルの名付け親になって頂くことに!「吸血鬼」というコンセプトを基に楽曲を制作、2トラック目にSE要素を入れるなどGHOST初の試みが多い作品となっています。前作のシングルでは全メンバーの楽曲を収録し、それぞれの持つ個性を堪能できる作品でしたが、今回は敢えて2曲に絞り、GHOSTならではの「ポップさ」と「ダークさ」の二面性を1枚の作品として表現しました。今作はGHOST初のオリジナルトレーディングカードを封入。各メンバーのカード5種類に、シークレットカード1種類を加え、ランダムに封入。
