グランジのJAZZ坂本龍馬が生まれた町、上町(高知市)にて大正8年から続く老舗の味噌屋の四代目として生まれる。幼い頃から味噌に慣れ親しみ育ち、2007年11月より本格的に味噌の修行を始める。2011年東日本大震災を機に、自分自身を見つめ直し、本来あるべき味噌の原点回帰として麹菌の発酵プロセスに重きを置いた味噌作りに力を入れ始める。その頃から味噌作り教室・講座等の依頼を受けるようになり、味噌や発酵食品の良さを伝える活動を開始している。彼のライフワークである音楽制作では味噌作りと同じくlow tempoな彼自身の世界観を表現すべく現在MISO JAPAN Recordsを主宰、作品を発表している。「MISO JAPAN Recordsについて」日本の発酵食品に欠かせない原料として、糀は長い間、日本文化の根幹を支え(利用され続け)今もなおその文化は職人たちの手によって受け継がれ、発展し続けております。和食の土台を支えてきた糀は、もはや日本人の食卓に欠かすことの出来ないものです。冨士味噌は皆様の健康の一助になればと、日々糀に触れ勉強させて頂いております。そんな日常をおくる中、時には音楽に耳を傾け、時には音を奏で、そしてまた、時には作曲をしたり、暮らしの中から生まれてくる音を楽器を通じ表現してきました。日々の生活の中から生まれてくる音楽をMISO JAPAN Recordsは大切にしています。
