From well-known artists such as Kaori Muraji and Chisako Takashima to those who are well known and respected by young guitarists such as Jun Kajiwara, who has worked as a backup singer for the world famous NABESADA and is also a member of DEPAPEPE, as well as voyage and Pyramid, another unit of Cassiopeia, T-SQUARE, etc., the album features a wide range of talented artists. The lineup also includes DEPAPEPE, Wool and Ohana, and other promising new artists popular among young people. The BGM album, which has been played as BGM at about 700 post offices nationwide on a trial basis since September of this year, will finally be released to the general public.

郵政民営化に伴い立ち上がった日本郵政グループのレーベル「JP MUSIC」。その第3弾は、全国に約25,000局ある郵便局の現場の声から生まれた、郵便局という空間をより心地よい、市民の憩いの場にするために作られたBGMアルバム。今作は、アコースティックでオーガニックなサウンドスタイルで活動する実力派アーティストの全16曲を収録。村治佳織、高嶋ちさ子など既に知名度の高いアーティストから、世界のナベサダのバックを努めDEPAPEPE等若手ギタリストから尊敬を集める梶原順や、カシオペア、T-SQUARE等のメンバーの別ユニットでもあるvoyage、Pyramidなど、知る人ぞ知る実力派、そしてDEPAPEPE、羊毛とおはななど若者に人気の期待の新人アーティストまで幅広いラインアップとなっている。今年9月から全国約700局の郵便局にて試験的にBGMとして流されている話題のBGMアルバムが、ついに一般発売となる。
