As its first album, JP MUSIC has produced a compilation album of songs based on the theme of "letters. 郵政民営化に伴い立ち上がった日本郵政グループのレーベル「JP MUSIC」。その第1弾アルバムとして「手紙」をテーマとした楽曲によるコンピレーション・アルバムを制作。世代を問わず楽曲のすばらしさを重視して選び抜かれた1～10曲目に加え、11、12曲目には本アルバムのために書下ろされたオリジナル楽曲を収録。大貫妙子、TULIP(チューリップ)など往年の実力派アーティストから、RAG FAIR、クラムボンなど若者にも人気のアーティスト、またThe Remember Me、宮良牧子など今後ブレイクするであろう若手アーティストまで幅広い層に支持されている12組が集結。アートワークにも郵政ならではの工夫を凝らし、パッケージに切手を貼りポストに投函すればそのまま郵送できるデザインと、メッセージを書き込むためのミニ便箋を3枚封入、それらデザインに使用されているイラストは日本郵便の切手デザイナーが画き下ろすというこだわりようで、手紙やギフトを贈る感覚で大切な人にプレゼントするグッズとしても最適な商品だといえる。
