調布(東京都)を拠点とする社会人バンドのイベント「ちょうふミュージック・フェスティバル」から登場したtomoe(ともえ)のファーストミニアルバム!アルバムタイトルは「つなげよう」。全てはtomoeとプロデューサー・井坂治との出会いから。本アルバム1曲目「MARIE」はちょうふミュージック・フェスティバル主催者の井坂治が27年前、高校生の時に作曲した楽曲。井坂は大学を卒業し、コンピューターメーカーに就職し、普通の社会人として生活していましたが、20年余経ったとき、息子が通う幼稚園で企画されたイベントからバンド活動を再開。徐々に社会人バンドの輪を拡げていきました。社会人バンドの輪は、「若かりし頃、夢を追いかけてバンド活動をしていた!」というオヤジたちが中心に拡がりましたが、今では男女問わず、「40代になって初めて楽器を手にした。」という大人になってからの楽器初心者等も加わり、さらに増殖しています。そして、その輪は息子、娘の世代にも。tomoeは「ドラ吉バンド倶楽部」という社会人バンドのドラマーの娘。お互い会社や業界、世代も違い、普通に生活していたら出会うはずもなかった人たちですが、音楽がみんなをつなげてくれました。音楽を通してさらに多くの人たちとつながりたい、つなげていきたい、そんな想いをこめたアルバム「つなげよう」。3曲目「Line to...」。tomoe自身の書き下ろし。Line(線)は一筋の光をイメージ。タイトルの「...」は、そこにつながる絆や友情を。自分は今まで出会った人たちに支えられ、生きているんだと感じ、そんな人たちへの感謝の気持ちをこめています。井坂治(45)=全体プロデュースから、作曲、編曲、DAWソフト「SONAR」のエンジニアとして参加。学生時代は劇伴作曲家として多数のビデオパッケージに参加していたが、卒業後就職しサラリーマン生活を12年。その後独立し、イベント企画・運営やビデオ制作なども手がける。tomoe(25)=2012年より、ちょうふミュージック・フェスティバル、Mian Raveなど数々のイベントにドラ吉バンド倶楽部というバンドのボーカリスト、あるいはソロ歌手として出演。
