Muso Tensei [Type C]

The long-awaited release of the official recordings by "Iza Mairan," an idol group that continues to achieve a gekokujo rise in the idol scene with a Sengoku warlord concept. Ahead of their three-year anniversary one-man show at Osu Electric Lady Land in October, this release presents a mini album issued in three types, each containing seven tracks, including many songs that had their music videos released but were not previously commercialized. Spanning a wide musical range from overwhelming punk band sounds to upbeat idol songs, the common elements throughout are Japanese-style sensibilities and melancholic chord progressions. Highly regarded overseas as well, the curtain rises on the warlord idols' path toward unification. Track one, "Ai Yuenni ...," is a representative song of the group that was first performed at their second anniversary one-man show and has since become a live staple, delivered with intense energy through unified fists and vocals rather than typical idol-style mix calls. They continue to reign as the "Dai Utsukemono" of the systematized Nagoya idol live scene, making full use of three-part harmonies. Type C includes "Utakata Fortnite" and "Tenkabito Sengen!"
