[Machine Translation] Formed in the mid 90's as a techno-rock unit by Mal and Die. After releasing music for video games such as DORICAS, the duo released their first album, "PRINCE", in 2001, and quickly burst onto the scene with their participation in the compilation "animundi" (2002), which featured Boredoms, ROVO, etc. They then released two albums, "Tokyo VINYL" and "136", on Warner Indies in 2004. In 2004, he released "Tokyo Vinyl" and "136" on Warner Indies, and after the disappearance of Warner Indies, he released his first two albums, "Tokyo Vinyl" and "136". After Warner Indies disappeared, they released a split album "peacH ON DA LADY" with Osaka's Peach in June of this year. HONDALADY has always been active, going on split tours, and has had a wide variety of musicians participate, including Naoyuki Uchida of DRY&HEAVY, Ryoinukami of SOFFet, and Shojiro Watanabe, who mixes for Schadara and Den-Guru, as well as many other gems of artists. HONDALADY" will release its long-awaited solo album in September. The musicians participating in the album are diverse, including Shimokitazawa idol artist Rumi Shishido and the popular post-rock group maiami. HONDALADY" will also feature live performances by Ushi-chan from "HI-5" and "Dengeki Network," so one can never take one's eyes off of the band.

マルとDieによるテクノロックユニットとして90年代半ばに結成。ドリキャス等のゲーム用音楽を経て、2001年のファーストアルバム「PRINCE」から怒涛のリリース街道驀進。2002年のボアダムス、ROVO等が参加したコンピレーション「animundi」に参加し一気にシーンに踊りでる。その後、ワーナーインディーズから2004年に「東京VINYL」「136」の2作を発表。ワーナーインディーズ消滅後、今年6月には大阪のpeachとのスプリット「peacH ON DA LADY」を発表。スプリットツアーを敢行と、常に活動しつづけているHONDALADYは、参加ミュージシャンも多彩で、DRY&HEAVYの内田直之やSOFFetのリョウイヌカミ、スチャダラや電グルのミックスを担当する渡辺省二郎他、数多くの珠玉のアーティストが参加してきた。そんな、「HONDALADY」待望の単独作品が、9月にリリースされる。今回も参加ミュージシャンは多彩で、下北沢のアイドルアーティスト「宍戸留美」、今話題のポストロック系「maiami」等が参加予定。ライブの方には、「HI-5」や「電撃ネットワーク」の牛ちゃんも参加するなど、この先何が飛び出すかわからない「HONDALADY」からは、全く目が離せない状況である。
