Ready Go!

[Machine Translation] Shangri-La's second mini-album, their first in two years, is a rock album that packages the anxiety and frustration, hope and motivation, and joy and anger of living in this world into six songs. The album is packed with Shangri-La's various charms, including "Ready Go!" reminiscent of 1960s British rock, the acid folk "Weathercock" and "I Love You," a rock number with a strong message. The sound is perfect for lovers of Western music from the 1960s and 1970s, but with a 2000s interpretation, the irony and pathos of Shangri-La's unique sound world unfolding in front of your eyes is a must-hear! The title track "Ready Go!" is inspired by the retro psychedelic rock sound of the 1960s with a 2000s interpretation. Kawahara's coquettish vocals are intertwined with Nippure's psychedelic guitar. In addition to Yuko Kawahara and Futa Nigure, the band is supported by Mizuyuki Endo on bass and Hiromasa Kakehi on drums. All songs are written by Shangri-La. <profile> A neo-psychedelic rock band with a hint of vintage British rock from the 1960s and 1970s. Formed in 2014, the band released their first mini album "Shangri-La" in December 2015. The theme of the album is the light and shadow that exist in everyone. And love and warning bells for the earth. Shangri-La's unique worldview expresses the light and shadows of peace, the sun, love, nature, and other human qualities, as well as the universal world. Currently, they perform 70 to 80 shows a year, expanding their activities from Chubu to Kanto, Kansai, and Hokuriku.
