1955年7月25日生まれ/福岡市在住/52歳/子供3人/専業主婦/特技 クラシックギター演奏学生時代にヤマハ主催のポプコン九州大会に、チャゲ&飛鳥や長渕剛らと共にアマチュアとして出場。その後結婚。3人の子供に恵まれ、あっと言う間に30年の歳月が流れる。2007年6月 「青春気分」CD-Rで完全手作り製造により販売スタート。2008年3月 クミコに提供した楽曲「ブラボー!」で作家デビューを果たす。遅咲きあるいは専業主婦のシンガーソングライターと短絡的に言っていいものでしょうか?世間的にはその方が受けがいい気がします。しかしそう簡単にかたずけられない魅力がこのアルバムの主役「智子」にはあります。フォーク、ロックの創世記だった1950年代に生まれ今や伝説となったミュージシャン達がメッセージを送り、ここ日本でも爆発的なフォークブームを巻き起こした時代に青春を送った世代です。「智子」も学生時代はオリジナル曲を作っては様々な活動をしていました。その後結婚。3人の子供に恵まれ多忙な日々を送ることになります。転機が訪れたのは2007年4月。さだまさしさんの「人生の贈り物」を聴いたことがきっかで、心の奥にしまっていた音楽にスイッチが入り、このミニアルバムの収録曲6曲を約1ヵ月で書き上げたということです。その様なことあれば世の中見渡せば似たようなケースの人は見つかるかもしれません。しかし、彼女の凄いところは50歳を越えた今の心情を歌にし始めたところです。歌詞のテーマは"社会人として巣立っていった息子の事"や"母親の面影を鏡に映った自分の姿を通して発見した事"など30年間生きてきた平凡な主婦の目線で気負う事もなくたんたんと綴られています。2007年6月、CD-Rにして自主的に販売された当アルバムは、巷のプロ・ミュージシャンの歌にはない魅力を放ちライブを聴いた同年代の女性が、涙を流しライブ終了後は飛ぶように売れています。そのような状況を受け、当レーベルからのリリースとなりました。決して遅咲きではありません。昭和世代のリアル・シンガー・ソング・ライター「智子」、満を持してのデビューです!!
