A love story of two couples in Tokyo and Osaka! The theme song is the hit song of the same name by Frank Nagai. --Aya Koyanagi, an up-and-coming designer on her way back from France, wows the women of Osaka with her eccentric Parisian-inspired designs. After her fashion show was a great success, she took a train to Tokyo that night. Aya was so excited that she did not even notice that she stepped on the foot of Neritaro Shinohara, a sports-trained architectural engineer who boarded the train next to her. [角川シネマコレクション2019年 2月度: 京マチ子特集] 初DVD化! 有楽町で逢い、道頓堀で恋を知る! 東京、大阪を舞台に展開する二組の男女によるラブストーリー! フランク永井の同名ヒット曲が主題歌の、歌謡映画の代表作! ――フランス帰りの新進デザイナー小柳亜矢は、パリ仕込みの奇抜なデザインで大阪の女性をあっと言わせた。ファッションショーを大成功で終えた彼女は、その夜の列車で東京に向った。興奮冷めやらぬ亜矢は、隣に乗り合わせたスポーツで鍛えあげた逞しい体の建築技師・篠原練太郎の足を踏んだことにも気がつかなかった。亜矢はふと彼の座席におかれた週刊誌に自分の写真が載っているのを見た。その瞬間、彼はその週刊誌をまるめて、駅弁をばくつきだした。そんな二人をのせて列車は一路東京へ――。
