Description

[Machine Translation] [KADOKAWA Western Film Selection] "The Eternity Found: The Sea That Became One with the Sun". The best work of Nouvelle Vague and Godard! Subtitles translated by Jiro Terao and supervised by Koichi Yamada! Starring Jean-Paul Belmondo, the same actor as in his debut film that changed the history of cinema, "Shall we go without asking" ('59), this film depicts a man who has passed the age of adolescence and is heading toward his own destruction. --Fernando, married to a rich man and leading a dull life, spends a night with Marianne, his old lover whom he has met again. The next morning, he finds the body of a dead man in his room with a pair of scissors thrust into his neck. The film won the 1965 Venice International Film Festival's New Critics Award.
