人生迷ったら、楽しい方へ。何者にもなりきれないものたちの、笑いと涙にあふれた物語。森田芳光監督、伝説の劇場デビュー作『の・ようなもの』 公開から35年の時を経て、いま届けたい、優しくて温かいメッセージ。松山ケンイチ、北川景子など、森田監督作品の歴代出演者から豪華キャストが集結! ――舞台は東京の下町、谷中。主人公は30歳で脱サラして落語家になったものの、気真面目で几帳面な性格のゆえか「小学生が国語の教科書を読んでいるような落語」のままで足踏みしたまま、前座に甘んじている出船亭志ん田(でふねてい・しんでん)。師匠の志ん米(しんこめ)の家に住み込み修行中で、同居する娘の夕美に密かに恋心を抱いている。志ん米の師匠、志ん扇(しんせん)の十三回忌一門会を前にスポンサーのご機嫌をとるために、後援会長のお気に入りで現在は行方不明の志ん魚(しんとと)の居場所を探すことに! 落語家の道をあきらめた気楽な中年男の志ん魚は、再び高座にあがるのか。そして将来への不安を感じながらも精進する志ん田の明日はどっちだ・・・!? 特製ブックレット封入。
