I second you, Wonderer. It is deeply frustrating for the non-Japanese-speaking lovers of Ozu, Mizoguchi, Naruse, etc. to look at these absolutely lovely box sets and not be able to buy them because of lack of subtitles. Even though Japanese DVDs are highly expensive, I am sure there is an enormous audience outside Japan that would gladly pay for them.

When do these people learn that we need at least ENGLISH SUBTITLES to buy this product!! There are many DVDs of Mizoguchi out there but there is still missing a decent international release containing subtitles. I would buy EVERY Mizoguchi film.
