15TH ANNIVERSARY LIVE SINCE DEBUT 2004.10.22 in National Yoyogi Stadium No.1 Gymnasium

Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra is probably a band that most everybody would enjoy live. I've talked to people who haven't enjoyed their recorded material, but have been blown away by their live performances. Unfortunately, I don't think LIVE SINCE DEBUT really captures the energy that SkaPara usually put out in their performances. They are energetic and play a tight set in this DVD, but you know, it's hard to feel excited in an arena where the audience is so far away from the band. That's not to say that this is a bad DVD. The set that they played on this DVD features a lot of songs that isn't usually heard from their other live DVDs and albums, and it's always neat to hear them play older tunes (like Hole in One). Still, I'd recommend buying the DVDs, "Skapara at Cabaret," "LIVE GRAND PRIX," or if you can find it, "SKA EVANGELISTS ON THE RUN" before you buy LIVE SINCE DEBUT.
