      From the delightful shuffle of the opening track, a cover version of 'Chattanooga Choo Choo' to the gentle fading beach tones of the final track, Tropical Dandy is one of Haruomi's best pre-YMO albums. Track 2 'Hurricane Dorothy' is a particular highlight with its funk rhythms bouncing gently and a lilting croon from our Haruomi. Overall this record features an eclectic array of instruments used to superb effect and songwriting that won't leave you head easily. Brilliant!
