Jyudai Me Kingentei Basho Best of Best Udonya / Yanagida Kakunoshin

[Machine Translation] A brilliant storyteller with the lightness and stylishness of haiga. A collection of rakugo masterpieces by Kinewaratei Umao X! Kanewaratei Bamo X is the son of Shinsei Kokontei V, who lived up to his reputation as a master rakugo performer, and his brother Shintcho Kokontei III, who was called the last of the Edo-style rakugo storytellers. Kanewaratei Bamo was in his forties and was described as a "silver-tongued storyteller." He was appointed vice president of the Rakugo Association at a young age, and just as he was about to blossom into a star or two, he sadly passed away at the young age of 54. He was truly a genius who passed away prematurely. This year marks the 30th anniversary of his death. With the advent of the rakugo boom, Umao's unmistakable and elegant style of performance is being reevaluated, and this is the ultimate selection of his best works, carefully selected to bring out his charm from a new angle. The commentary includes a gorgeous trilogy of talks by the current Umawu, his daughter, actress Shino Ikenami, and actor Akira Nakao, who was trained by Umawu as his priest and father-in-law. Supervision: Kanehara-tei Umayo XI, the current Kanehara-tei Umayo. Performance cooperation: Takehiro YASUDA (performance critic). Cooperation: Mr. Nobuhiro Aoki (Rango Cafe).
