人間国宝・竹本綱大夫のみが表現することができる、浄瑠璃の世界が初CD化!! 平成19年に文楽の浄瑠璃・竹本綱大夫が人間国宝(重要無形文化財保持者)に指定された。画期的なことに、同時に三味線の鶴澤清治も人間国宝になった。そして、来年4月には、竹本綱大夫は竹本源大夫に、相三味線の鶴澤清二郎は鶴澤籐蔵に、それぞれ名人とうたわれた方の名を襲名することが決定。今作は、平成17年5月30日、早稲田大学小野記念講堂における、珍しい浄瑠璃「木下蔭狭間合戦竹中砦の段」を収録。竹本綱大夫以外に語ることができるものはいないという、大変貴重なCD。
