2018年は日系ブラジル移民110周年、ボサノヴァ誕生60周年、渡辺貞夫の初ブラジル渡航50周年記念と言う日本人とブラジル音楽の関係において、周年の重なった年である。Takt,、Better Days、PortAzulなど日本コロムビアのレーベルに残された、日本人によるブラジル音楽或いはブラジル録音、ブラジルのアーティストとのコラボ作品などブラジルに所縁のある音源のコンピレーション。66年「JAZZ & BOSSA」を発表して日本にボサノヴァを紹介し、68年には初めてブラジルを訪れ現地のミュージシャンとのアルバムを録音した渡辺貞夫の、タクト音源。70年代末～80年代前半にかけてフュージョンのムーヴメントを牽引したベターデイズ・レーベルから、当時のブラジリアン・フュージョンを代表する名曲、名演。USA & ブラジル録音、日本人がブラジルのスターと共演した楽曲など。
