Each volume includes a two-page spread explaining each basic verb, and the English expressions that GABBY hears and speaks are based on real English conversations used in children's world. The English expressions that GABBY hears and speaks each time are based on real English conversations used in the real world of children. Where are you going? Where are you going? These casual, everyday conversations are abundantly incorporated into the 20 episodes. The program focuses on verbs that express familiar actions of children. Based on corpus data from analysis of children's language activities (English and Japanese), the 20 most frequently used verbs and sentences containing them are selected. 4 stories are included.
