SNK ARCADE SOUND DIGITAL COLLECTION Vol.25

[Machine Translation] ARCADE SOUND DIGITAL COLLECTION" is a project to convert the sounds of SNK's numerous arcade games into CDs with clear sound quality through new digital recordings. Vol. 25", the first volume of the relaunch, includes BGM from "World Heroes" and "World Heroes 2"! Released in 1992, "World Heroes" is a fighting game in which characters based on famous historical figures fight for the title of world's strongest, and "World Heroes 2" was released in 1993 with new characters and a new system to add more depth to the game. This 2-CD set contains the BGM from the two games that started the series. The booklet includes a column by Takatsugu Hatono, a former member of Alpha Denshi and graphic designer of "World Heroes" and "World Heroes 2". The "ARCADE SOUND DIGITAL COLLECTION" series was created based on the concept of "recording the arcade game boards on CD with the clearest sound quality possible" by digitally recording the game boards. Only the sounds recorded on the board will be included on the CD.

株式会社SNKが保有する数々のアーケードゲームのサウンドを、新規デジタル録音によるクリアな音質でCD化していくプロジェクト「ARCADE SOUND DIGITAL COLLECTION」シリーズ。2021年3月に発売の第24弾から、約4年半の時を経てこの度再始動! 再始動第1弾となる「Vol.25」には『ワールドヒーローズ』『ワールドヒーローズ2』のBGMを収録! 1992年発売、歴史上の著名人をモチーフとしたキャラクターたちが世界最強の座を賭けて戦う対戦格闘ゲーム『ワールドヒーローズ』。1993年発売、新キャラクターや新システム追加で駆け引きに深みが増した2作目『ワールドヒーローズ2』。シリーズの原点となる2作のBGMを、CD2枚組でお届け。ブックレットには、元・アルファ電子所属、『ワールドヒーローズ』と『ワールドヒーローズ2』のグラフィックデザインを手掛けた鳩野高嗣氏によるコラムを掲載。※「ARCADE SOUND DIGITAL COLLECTION」シリーズは、新たに基板からデジタル録音を行い、「アーケード基板の音源を最もクリアな音質でCDに収録すること」をコンセプトに制作しております。本シリーズでは基板に収録されている音のみCDに収録となります。
