Their strange and excessive avant-punk sound is the very sound image of Tokyo's dark side and back alleys. "Bastard City," released as a digital single in 2025, is a love letter to all of Tokyo's harshness and grotesque beauty. This release marks its first physical release as a cassette EP and also contains a remix version by DJ MEMAI. The remix, which possesses a duality that feels shut inward while also exploding outward, brilliantly expands the nocturne-like atmosphere of the song. In addition to these two versions of "Bastard City," it also contains a newly recorded version of the live staple "New Creation" and the new song "Jigoku no Mon e." "Bastard City EP" is released from Call And Response Records following the 2022 album "Akumu ni Warae!" Recording, mixing, and mastering are handled by Ryo Hisatsune of studio Zot.
