1977～1978年に日本で放送され、ロボットアニメブームを巻き起こした「超電磁マシーン ボルテスV」。その人気は海を越え、フィリピンの地でも絶大なる人気を博し、以来45年以上にわたり愛され続け、フィリピン国民の「ボルテスV」への愛と情熱に応える形で、フィリピン最大の地上波TV局GMAネットワークと制作会社テレサクセス・プロダクションズが実写リメイク版の映画とTVシリーズを製作、2023年に劇場公開・放送された。そして、この度日本での展開が決定。『ボルテスV レガシー』のタイトルで、10月18日(金)に映画が公開、さらにテレビシリーズがTOKYO MXにて今秋放送される。これを記念してTVアニメシリーズ全40話が待望のネガスキャンHDリマスターBlu-rayで発売!! ――遠い宇宙からプリンス・ハイネル率いるボアザン星の侵略軍が地球に飛来した。健一をはじめとする剛三兄弟と峰一平、岡めぐみの5人は密かに建造されていたボルテスVに搭乗しボアザン星人と闘う。ブックレット封入(予定)。越智一裕描き下ろしジャケット。
