Description

[Machine Translation] Laurie Brock, the premier female acoustic blues guitarist who has won numerous musical awards, makes it her lifelong mission to bring you the second installment of her new series, "Power Women of the Blues"! Following on the heels of the first installment, "Bessie Smith," this time around, Laurie will be presenting the music of Memphis Minnie, Ma Rainey, Helen Humes, Rosetta Howard, Madeline Davis, Marlin Johnson ( Yas Yas Girl ), and other lesser-known female blues artists, all of whom are featured in this new series. This album features songs by female blues artists who have not been featured in the mainstream, such as Helen Humes, Rosetta Howard, Madeline Davis, Marlin Johnson ( Yas Yas Girl ), etc., with unique arrangements and the best techniques!
