The album's production was anchored by a close collaboration with major producer Greg Kurstin, a new creative partner for Thundercat. Also participating in the production are <Brainfeeder> leader and close friend Flying Lotus, Kenneth Bloom, aka Kenny Beats, who last year created the much-talked-about latest Geeze album, and the genius D'Addario brothers, The Lemon Twigs. Despite the diverse talents assembled, the film as a whole is a clear reflection of the "Thundercat of today. Many of the artists who share Thundercat's sensibilities and creative aspirations participated in the production of this work. Willow lays down floating vocals on "ThunderWave," and Chanelle Torres lays down a lively groove on "This Thing We Call Love," and just a few weeks ago, Thundercat released a new album, "Saturday Night. Asap Rocky, who recently appeared on "Saturday Night Live," joins the band for the epic "Funny Friends," and the collaboration with Tame Impala, "No More Lies," will also be featured on the album.
