この恋は、純愛か? それとも狂気か? 『世界の中心で、愛をさけぶ』などの脚本を務めた伊藤ちひろが行定勲のプロデュースにより監督デビュー。主演は、デビュー以来、音楽シーンにインパクトを残し続ける井口理 (King Gnu)。――人とうまくコミュニケーションのとれない、歯科医のススメが恋をしたのは、アロマ店を営む宮子。しかしながら宮子は、部屋に鍵をかけず、突如連絡が取れなくなったりする、つかみどころがない女性だった。それでも、彼女と抱き合っていると、ススメは自分を縛っている自意識から解放される気がしていた。自分でも理解できない自分を宮子は理解してくれている、ススメはそれがうれしかった。けれど、謎の多い宮子を前に、自分は彼女のことを理解できていない、と思い悩むススメ。ある日、宮子の友達である蓉子が、ススメに宮子の身に起きた驚きの事実を告げる。
