Episode 9 unfortunately emphasized the battle system in general didn't allow all the characters to be involved, although it was interesting that the villains avoided the heroes when they met them. Also, Rex didn't seem terribly bothered by the events of the previous episode. It was good that Ryuta didn't have to get involved in he battle for once. When I saw the episode preview for episode 10 I was expecting Ryuta to be sidelined again but at least it lead to another example of the Tyrannosaurus dominating a battle and its good that Malm and Parapara can take more of a central role in future battles now. Also, there is closure on some of the extra dinosaurs to an extent and it is amusing watching a T-Rex attempt to kick while hopping on one leg. Episode 11 gave the villains a lot of screen time but they didn't seem to contribute much. It was different in that most of the plot revolved around local people and a large Suchomimus who was eating their fish. An oddity concerning the episodes on this disk is that Ryuta doesn't contribute much to the fight scenes in any of them. Other anime shows need to sideline the main her more often so other characters can have development.
