Description

[Machine Translation] This popular coming-of-age story, originally written by Yojiro Ishizaka, cheerfully and refreshingly depicts the rocky love lives of two college students and their daily lives as four sisters. Keiko Nishida ( Chieko Matsubara ), the eldest of the four sisters, gets a driver's license without telling her parents and goes for a drive with her college friends, where she happens to meet two young men including Saburo Kuroda ( Tsune Kawaguchi ) who asks her to witness a duel. Later, Keiko meets Kuroda again in a university classroom and learns that he is a fellow student in the same university and seminar as her. This is a coming-of-age story that cheerfully and refreshingly depicts the wavering love between a man and a woman and the daily lives of four sisters. Commentary enclosed.
