I've first encounted with Gundam W without having any prior knowledge about Gundam. Upon my first viewing, I was stunned by great stories, characters, and intense battles. I liked the way how the story takes place in Victorian-like Europe in the distant future. It was a sweet Anime series I've seen in a long time back in 2000 when it first broadcast in TV. But after watching the original Universal Century, it was kind of disappointing to see Gundam W. Gundam W recycled most of the same elements from previous Gundam series and remade for the new generation. Nonetheless Gundam W is the nice introduction to those who have never see any Gundam series before. Recommended!
