Description

A strange environmental phenomenon in Kanazawa, Japan caused the land to split and protrude upwards massively and created the secluded area called "The Lost Ground." アニメ史にその名を刻んだSF格闘アクション! ドルビーデジタル5.1ch音声を収録したDVD-BOXがスペシャルプライスでリリース!! 21世紀初頭の近未来、神奈川県の一部で突如、原因不明の大規模な隆起が発生し、半径30kmの『ロストグラウンド』と呼ばれる土地が誕生した。日本政府によりロストグラウンドは復興するも、復興した市街の住人「インナー」と崩壊地区の住人「アウター」という特殊な二層社会が形成される。そして何時しかロストグラウンド生まれの新生児の中に「アルター能力」という特殊能力を持つ者達が現れ始め、能力を使った暴力や略奪を行う彼らは「ネイティブアルター」と呼ばれるようになった。これに対して本土側はロストグラウンドにおける警察機関「HOLD」内に、アルター能力者による部隊「HOLY」を設立し、これに対応した。そんな中、ロストグラウンドの崩壊地区で生まれ育ったアルター使いカズマは、HOLYに所属するアルター使い劉鳳と出会い、物語は動き出す。テレビ東京系6局ネットで2001年7月4日より12月まで放送された。全26話収録。BOXイラストは平井久司による新規描き下ろし。
