Bought this dvd set in March 2006 and its 10 times better than the HD release that currently aired in Japan this past weekend. The HD version is a bit blurry where as the Region 2 version is more sharper. The "chariots of fire" montage is included on this set and but not included in the HD release.

I am a huge fan of the Mecha Digimon and Magical Girl Anime series,in the Mecha Genere i appreciate the works of people like GoNagai Anno Hideaki and Tomino Yoshiyuki,Gunbuster its an excellent OVAs and Tribute to the Mechas Animes like: Getter Robo G Ideon Mobile Suit Gundam 0079 Daitarn 3 and Combattler V Gunbuster contains Great History Animation Charactersand Battles its an Classic Gainax MasterPiece and the best i think this Anime was the 1st Mecha Anime in that the Main Character its an beautiful woman and she have an Powerful mecha like Mazinkaiser Gaogaigar Final etc and Gunbuster is more than any Evangelion and i appreciated the apparition of Gunbuster in the Super Robot Taisen Series so i have one last thing say to Mr Anno Hideaki YOU ARE A GENIUS and Excellent Person for your works like Gunbuster Evangelion and Daicon III and IV
