『仮面ライダードライブ』のテレビ主題歌を担当する、松岡充率いるスペシャルユニットMitsuru Matsuoka EARNEST DRIVE (MMED)。日本を代表する技巧派ミュージシャンを集め仮面ライダーを音楽で盛り上げているこのユニットが、この夏公開される映画『劇場版仮面ライダードライブサプライズ・フュチャー』の主題歌も担当する事が決定! MMEDとしては仮面ライダードライブ主題歌「SURPRISE-DRIVE」(2014年12月発売)、仮面ライダー4号主題歌「time」(2015年4月発売)に続く第3弾シングル。今作は作詞作曲とも松岡充が行い、これまで幾度に渡り関わって来た仮面ライダーとの想いをその楽曲に詰め込んだ渾身の一曲となっている。また、収録曲ははこれまでのMMEDとしてのシングル曲のアコースティックバージョン等を含む全4曲を予定しており、1年間におよぶ仮面ライダーとのコラボレーションの集大成的作品に仕上がっている。
