S.P.D.

I've been a fan of SPEED since they first came out in 1996. Very sad when they disbanded and always looked for some sign of a reunion and what not. When they finally officially got back together, I was so happy. Seriously there were tears. Hearing them sing old songs again, was fabulous. Their first single Ashita no Sora was such a great return for them and it did great on the charts. But this single is something COMPLETELY different than what we're used to hearing from them. Their old songs are very powerful with the background vocals and what not. Such feel good, powerful music. S.P.D. (Splendid Pop Dance), is something new for the future of SPEED. This is a type of song that can bring new fans to SPEED that didn't know them back in the 90s. It has a good beat and an awesome dance routine. And of course, awesome vocals by Hiroko and Eriko. I definitely recommend this CD if you are looking to try something new and haven't heard any of SPEED's old songs. And once you do try this song, check out some of their old songs on youtube and you may be hooked for life! Their sound is MUCH more mature now compared to back in the 90s as they were only in their teens (12 being the youngest!!) and now they are only in their 20s, so they have many more years to come. Support SPEED and enjoy their music new and old!
