80年代黄金の大映ドラマが、BOXシリーズとしてavexよりリリース!! 1985年4月16日から1985年10月29日まで東京放送(TBS)で放送された「乳姉妹」のDVD-BOX。物語の主人公は同じ18歳の二人の少女。一方は大財閥の一人娘・大丸千鶴子、もう一方は父親が蒸発した家に育ち妹と共に新聞配達で母を助ける・しのぶ。知る人は少ないが二人はいわゆる乳姉妹の間柄。千鶴子を産んだ母親は彼女を産んで間も無しに他界、千鶴子は生後暫くの間はしのぶの母・静子によって育てられた。別々の世界で平穏に暮らしていた二人が18歳になったある日、二人の行く末に波瀾を巻き起こす事件が起こった・・・。数奇な運命に翻弄される育ちも違う二人の少女の行き方を通して、人間愛を高らかに謳い上げた作品で、原作は昭和9年に「少女倶楽部」に連載した少女小説の古典「あの道この道」。全28話の後半を収録したDVD4枚組。 特製ブックレット(各話解説&名セリフ集ほか)付き。
