渋谷慶一郎による映画『xxxHOLiC』(蜷川実花監督/神木隆之介×柴咲コウ主演)のサウンドトラックは、数々の映画音楽賞を受賞した『ミッドナイトスワン』に続くリリースであり、電子音楽アルバムとしては『ATAK020 THE END』以来約10年ぶりとなる。サウンドアーティストevalaによる立体音響、仏教音楽家の藤原栄善による声明のコラボレーションを含む全21曲を収録し、マスタリングにはArcaの「Kick」シリーズを手掛けるベルリン在住のEnyang Urbiks、ミックスには奇才Eartheaterを手掛けるNY在住のKiri Stensbyという二人の女性エンジニアが担当。極彩色の映画に呼応するかのような感覚的かつ中毒性の高い作品に仕上がっている。
