The mother has run out of love for Seishiro, who has always prioritized work over family, and the elder brother, who has decided not to take over the family business, has chosen to live a life of freedom. Miyako is interested in Tsugaru-nuri, but she cannot openly tell her father that she wants to take over the business, and the clumsy Seishiro shuns her, saying that it is not easy to make a living at Tsugaru-nuri.
