Description

DVD release of the film "Giniro no Ame" based on the novel written by Jiro Asada of "Poppoya," which was also adapted to film. Kazuya (Kento Kaku) is a high school student in Tottori prefecture who works part-time as a live-in newspaper delivery man. But one day, he runs away from home to escape reality and arrives at Yonago. There he runs smack into Kikue who has worked under his mother before and tumbles into her lap. A few days later, an ex-boxer Shoji Iwai (Shido Nakamura) is back in his hometown Yonago where he abandoned 18 years ago. Much like Kazuya, he comes to Yonago to escape reality. Eventually, circumstances lead to Shoji moving in with Kikue and Kazuya and a peculiar living arrangement begins. . . Also includes guide map of Tottori and Shimane prefectures (subject to change).

銀色の雨 / 邦画

直木賞受賞作「鉄道員(ぽっぽや)」が高倉健主演で映画化され、日本中に感動を呼び起こしてから10年。日本を代表する人気作家、浅田次郎のもうひとつの代表的傑作短編「銀色の雨」を映画化。――幼い頃に父を亡くした平井和也(賀来賢人)は、鳥取県の小さな町で住み込みの新聞配達をしながら高校に通っていたが、家出して米子へやってくる。一方プロボクサーの岩井章次(中村獅童)は、18年前に捨てた故郷・米子へ降り立つ。和也は、かつて母の下で働いていた菊枝(前田亜季)と偶然再会し、猫と暮らす彼女のマンションに転がり込む。そこへ、暴漢に襲われ怪我をし、菊枝に助けられた章次も転がり込む。ぎこちなく始まった3人の共同生活だが、やがて和也と章次の思わぬ関係が明らかになる・・・。鳥取/島根ガイドマップ封入(予定)。
